New metal staging support system provides cost-effective system for boat building and maintenance.

Hunter Scott developed his new metal staging support system out of frustration with traditional supports. Over 30 years of boat building with ladder type staging systems that wore out, wiggled, or were too restrictive, and A-frame staging supports that were cumbersome, extended above sheer, or were impossible to paint around, forced Hunter to rethink staging supports.

Any boat builder that has put on toe rails or rub rails, or has had to sand and paint a boat understands the problems of working on staging planks.

Hunter developed a new system and has tested it extensively at his own shop in a variety of situations for over two years. As local yards became aware of benefits of his new staging system, they wanted him to build systems for their shops, too. With such overwhelming positive acceptance, Hunter has started manufacturing the stands and is now offering them for distribution and use nationwide.
